With Punjab at the Epicentre of Farm Protests, Capt Brings Back Prashant Kishor For 'Damage Control'

Senior Congress leader and Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Monday said poll strategist Prashant Kishor has joined him as his principal advisor. “Happy to share that @PrashantKishor has joined me as my Principal Advisor. Look forward to working together for the betterment of the people of Punjab!” said Singh in a tweet. Assembly election is due next year in the state that has been witnessing a huge number of its farmers protesting along Delhi’s borders against three central agri sector laws.

Soon after, the Chief Minister’s Office put out a tweet stating that Kishor would get cabinet minister-rank with associated perks and a “token honorarium of Re 1”.
