Govt Mulling Breach of Privilege Motion Against TMC's Mahua Moitra Over Her Remarks in LS: Sources

The government is likely to move a breach of privilege motion against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra over the lawmaker's speech in the Parliament on Monday, sources told CNN-News18.

During her speech, Mahua cast aspersions on the conduct of a former Chief Justice of India. RSP MP N K Premachandran, who was in the Chair, said her remarks will be expunged if found objectionable. Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal termed her comments against the former CJI as "shameful".
