Budget 2021: Big announcements for railways, this big project to be done on PPP mode

New Delhi: Like previous years of the PM Modi government, this time also the Railway Budget has been announced along with the General Budget. 

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has allocated Rs 1,10,055 crore for the improvement and expansion of railways in the country. Of this, Rs 1,07,100 crore is for capital expenditure only. The Finance Minister has said in the budget speech that fast work is being done to prepare 46 thousand kilometers of electric rail line in the country.
